Beeson Theater – September 1918

The theater operated in September of 1918 but advertising was sparse due to continued wartime austerity and because September was considered the off-season.

Dodge City Daily Globe, September 21, 1918

Jaggers, the first prisoner exchanged in Europe, delivered remarks about his experience as a POW to a sold-out house.

“Official War Review” reels were also shown in addition to an unlisted five-reel Pathé film.
